“How can you play music standing still” - Action Bronson

From food connoisseur to east coast winter body boarder, this man has really defined himself as a jack of all trades.

Like many of us I was introduced to Action Bronson through his hit song “Baby Blue” featuring Chance The Rapper. Queen’s native, his New York poetic fusion of writing creates these funky similes that resonate to the average Joe all the way to the aristocrats of society. Bronson is a story teller, every line you don’t just get a snippet, you get every detail. I would love to see what one of his songs would look like if AI could listen to it and then create some images.

~ I do not have the technology to do this ~

You really get to see the amount of care and effort Bronson puts into his songs when he does it live. Stripping away all the production and noise you are left with the true essence of the songs and what he is trying to give to you. The only way I can describe this man is real. He is not afraid to say the weird shit, he is just trying his best to get what’s going on inside his brain out to the people.

I think this all comes through on his live performance of Terry even restarting the song because he messed up one word. Creating this raw and human part of the performance I always come back to watch this.

Some of my favorite one off line:

“If I don’t do it right, it’s not right”

“I also wanna let you know the edibles just hit, and I’ve been pretty good so far”

“Make me cry Young Mexico” (Plays insane Saxophone solo)

“I told you I couldn’t stand still, how do you play music still, freaky”

"For the first song this the look"
